Its value is not just confined to the tea itself but has its extensional meaning— tea culture. Supported by this kind of culture, we are developing an eco-tourism county. The prosperity of tourism can also lead to the development of tea industry. We are trying a new developing model: Tea Tourism—— Tea Production——Tea Culture.

為加快推進茶產業(yè)鏈的延伸發(fā)展，湄潭在加快茶產業(yè)發(fā)展同時，明確了“以茶促旅、以旅興茶”發(fā)展思路，提出了“住茶園、品茶飲、購茶產、賞茶景、體驗茶俗”的茶旅一體化發(fā)展思路。始終堅持以“四在農家”為載體，以茶產業(yè)為依托，以“黔北民居”為標志，以全國農業(yè)旅游示范帶建設為契機，以茶文化為內涵，構建“天下第一大茶壺”、“中國茶?！?、“中國茶城”、“貴州生態(tài)茶博館”、“三百里茶桂長廊”等主要的茶旅一體化景區(qū)，通過政策扶持，定期舉辦茶葉開采節(jié)和茶文化節(jié)等活動，開辟發(fā)展鄉(xiāng)村茶文化休閑旅游產業(yè)，譜寫茶旅一體化發(fā)展的新篇章。
For speeding up the development of tea economy chain, Meitan has a clear-cut developing idea of integrating tourism dynamically with tea industry. Through the interaction between them, we can realize our goal of living in a tea park, tasting tea drinks, purchasing tea products, enjoying tea sceneries and experiencing tea customs. We mainly struggle to build a county focusing on tourism industry based on tea products, old and traditional residences and “Nongjiale”——a place in the countryside with characteristics where people can have fun and eat with their family or friends. Motivated by the goal of building an agricultural tourism model county and Supported by the tea culture, we now have a series of scenic spots——a world-class big tea pot, beautiful tea mountains, a tea city, an ecological tea museum, a 150-km-long tea corridor and so on. With the support of the government, we regularly hold activities such as Tea Leaves Picking and Tea Culture Festival, etc. we focus on developing a kind of country leisure tourism with tea culture.
